Drain

It seems like that sun went down and left me behind. All the anger in the world couldn't keep me afloat last night, and perhaps it is just the music, or the weather, a thousand other explanations outside of my own mind. We are more inclined to accept external explanations for our own behaviour and less inclined to understand that others see it exactly the same way from behind their own eyes. My eyes turn inwards and I exhale that moment of truth.
